Are you new to gardening and don’t know where to begin? Have a little experience, but keep running into problems? The Ypsi-Arbor Green Thumb Gardening Course is for you! What’s even better is that this course is a gift to the community and to anyone that is willing to show up and do the work.
Class will meet for two hours on Saturdays every other week (or so) at my home throughout the growing season. Each class will include some theory, as well as lots of hands-on experience. Whether your space is large or small, you will learn all you need to know to set up and maintain your own garden!
The suggested course fee is $300 but no serious offer to attend the course will be refused, including time bank hours or barter. It is highly encouraged even that you PICK YOUR OWN PRICE. Think about what you can afford, what the class is worth to you – with consideration for the facilitator and the cooperative hosting the garden. We trust you to give what’s fair with all those things in mind. Feel free to bring a weekly offering or all up front, your choice.
